I am so grateful that Annemarie agreed to be my realtor. I was in fantastic hands for the entire process. Annemarie was an excellent communicator and called me every day to keep me apprised of our progress. Early on in the process, she came to my house with a critical eye and made easy, low budget suggestions on how to increase the house’s curb appeal. She even loaned me some lovely plants and other decorations. Annemarie is incredibly knowledgeable about real estate transactions, and very good at reading pages and pages of complex contracts and cutting to the heart of the matter. I was baffled by the language and the numbers of the offers and counter offers, but I had full confidence in Annemarie. She never gives up. When my house fell out of escrow because the buyers’ credit score declined late in the game, I became discouraged and told her to take the house of the market. She asked me to let her try one more time, and within 48 hours we had a new offer. I can honestly say if I had any other realtor, I would not have sold my house. Annemarie is extremely patient. A few times we had to communicate with erratic realtors and loan officers. She never lost her professional courtesy, but kept her eye on the ball with persistence and confidence. Above all, Annemarie showed me that, unlike many professionals, she genuinely cares.
Last April 2006 we made a trip to Surprise to visit family. While cruising around in our relative’s golf cart, Arnold noticed a lady (Annemarie) putting out a Realtor sign. We had been tossing around a possible second home in Surprise for years, but it had not gotten past the ‘thought part’. He stopped to chat with Annemarie about the area, the market, etc. In a saga worth many pages of single space (and in our opinion, at least a short story in Readers Digest), we actually did purchase a house in Sun City Grand in November 2006, long distance from Anchorage. It would not have happened, given the series of events leading up, without the incredible energy, integrity, and counsel from Annemarie. The key word in the experience was trust. It is our good fortune to know her, certainly for all future real estate ventures, and especially as a friend.
We certainly feel lucky to have had Annemarie Mahoney as our realtor. She was enthusiastic, energetic and most especially honest when she helped us buy a home and then sell our present home. We appreciated the fact that she did lots of research concerning the homes in our area and kept us informed about any changes in the market. She is a very hard worker and takes her clients interest to heart. We have dealt with other realtors before, and Annemarie stands heads above them!
